AIDS is SIDA, UN is ONU (Organización de las Naciones Unidas), but I guess everybody knows both versions (Romance & Germanic). It's general culture, in my opinion :smh:. The difference is only due to the fact that "we" put the adjetive after the noun (well, you can put it before sometimes, but it changes the meaning of the phrase), it's not such a big thing , specially if we take into account that the words that compound most of the techical stuff worldwide is Latin or Greek based 8-).
Bienvenu encore, Thilo :geeked:.

Here I am back... Our Internet didn't function for days...
In the Roman languages almost every shortcut is written in an other way because of a totally different syntaxe... European Union in Englisch: In French its l'Union européenne... or the Nato is l'OTAN en francais... Il y a beaucoup de diffenrences entre ces langues n'est-ce pas? 8-) :geeked:
Hi Jay,
Thanks for telling me, but I put that on purpose ;) In Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese is UE, and I just felt like using that order. Anyway, you are right, it's confusing, so I'll put EU / UE to make everyone happy. =)

Heya, you've got a typo! It's EU, not UE. Sorry, but I was rather confused when it opened up to see an EU FL, was wondering what a UE was. LOL.
