I’M OFFICIALLY IN PREGNANT, lol

Wow, quite a lot stuff happened since last time I posted…
Well, not really, but quite intense, indeed.

First of all: I am officially in pregnant . Yep, this statement is tricky, here’s the explanation.
The only time I had taken a blood annalyisis in my life was in 1984 when I got surgeon in my eyes (strabismus). I don’t even know my blood type, so I was a little curious about that and my blood state in general, but to take a blood annalysis here you have to state a reason for it; “curiosity” is not a valid reason, so the doctor, who is a friend of my family, put “first pregnancy” in the document . So, I took the blood test this morning and I almost fainted. I got a bit dizzy near the end of the blood extraction, but I thought it to be normal, I kept talking to the nurse and so on, but suddenly, when she was filling the last tube, my blood stopped running. The nurse raised her eyes and she got a bit anxious when looking at my face. She asked “are you feeling dizzy?” (well, in Spanish :P) But I just replied: the normal, I guess. But apparently, as she told me later, my lips were just as white as my skin. So, she made me stand up in order to lay me down on a stretcher… I prefered to stay sit and told her that it was my body the one who was feeling dizzy, “I am ok thank you”, but as I was saying this, she helped me to stand up and in that moment I could actually see myself outside my body! I’m telling you! I do really believe that I managed to not totally lose my conciousness because it was the first time I felt so stunned in my life and I didn’t miss to skip a second of that feeling :geeked:.

I’m not scared of blood of anything (I’m not a big fan of it either :dead:) but I guess that the fact of me having fasted for nearly 12 hours and the fact that I couldn’t sleep at all because of several things I had in mind are the main reason for that unexpected dizziness of mine.

Oh, incidentally, for all of you who like gossiping stuff ;): I’m “in pregnant”, but still a virgin; who said it was “so” impossible?.

Secondly: I have just come from the open reading of the exams I took for that job at the Educational Public System of the region of Galicia. I was a bit nervous, but not much really. As always in this type of events, everybody hates me for looking quite cool, but I must recognise I get as nervous as everyone. It’s only that I don’t find the point of exteriorising it :). Well, it’s already done and I’m glad because while reading I think I was able to keep everyone’s dignity. As you may already know, I haven’t studied AT ALL for these exams, and there are people who have been preparing them for years, so I just mentioned what I knew for sure so the tribunal didn’t have to hear too much nonsense from me, and I managed to remember that I know quite a lot of stuff for sure ;).

And changing the topic, Samanta didn’t mind the database “accident” at all, so I’m glad for that too, but I’m still feeling sorry about the whole thing. To make myself feel a bit better I fixed a couple of tiny errors with the php includes that Ajda -another of my hostees who recently got a domain for her site- had in her pages… Without asking her for permission… Fortunatly she is a very understanding person too :D.

Well, if you feel like reading about my sometimes called *interesting* life, I can tell you that on Sunday evening my father almost got killed at some friends’ place by one of one of those tools you use to sharpen wood surfaces. He got injured in his left hand and in his neck, but fortunately it was only a fright. The bad thing is that both my father and the friend who was with him while the accident happened are very hypocondriac people, so their attitude when talking about the issue is becoming rather annoying… For heavens sake, it’s only a couple of cuts!!

Whatever. My thesis is still killing me, but I have almost finished it (about time, I know, I know).

And… Enough for today.
I’m still excited about everything, so I’d better stop here or I’ll keep writing about odds and pieces such as my new Internet projects (Ajda knows them ;)), and this post is already too long, so…

Hasta la próxima =).
P.S.: I miss you Frauke, I hope you are doing well…

Era como estar flotando  Dazed and Confused.
La única explicación lógica fue una bajada de tensión. Soy hipotensa y eso es lo que pasó. Aunque a algunos les haga gracia pensar que la futura enfermera se desmayó mientras pinchaban a su perra  :)

La lectura bien ¿no? Sentí no desearte suerte a tiempo

Hahaha come chiamerai il bambino? :)
    Congratulazioni!
Io faccio un esame del sangue una volta all’anno (sono donatrice di sangue), ma non posso guardare: se vedo il sangue che mi tolgono, svengo davvero
    :uh:
    Baci

My father and I donate blood every year only for the analysis (and the deli food you get there afterwards  ). What’s more, you always have a piece of paper on you that states your blood type… just in case. But then, nothing can top pregnancy, I have to admit!

I cannot donate blood: I’m always said that I am too petite :uh:. I have gained a lot of weight since the last time I tried to donate, but now there seem to be a trouble with my blood preasure. They can only stract me enough blood to help a mouse  before my blood stops running :uh:.
