B2 OR 3
I’ve spent aaaaaall day long trying to do something effective against comment spam, not only in this B2 installation, but also in the ones I’ve got with MT and Wordpress. Because nope, it’s not that easy.
SPAM SHOULD BE PROHIBITED BY LAW, SPECIALLY COMMENT SPAM, IT ATTEMPTS AGAINST EVERYONE’S BASIC RIGHTS 
Sorry about the overexcitement, but I mean it: I find it really, really annoying. It’s already on the top 10 of the two billion things that annoy me :tongue:.
As far as B2 is concerned, I know the cliché: “change to Wordpress”, but I DON’T WANT TO, puñetas. No me da la gana :mad2:. I like B2 a lot, B2 hack forums included, and Wordpress gets spam too: I’ve got it installed somewhere else.
For the time being, I managed to deal with spam without feeling tempted to close comments for the xth time, particularly in this site you are reading right now.
So if you are also one of those obstinate B2 lovers and are even more fed up with spam than me, you may find this site pretty useful. Tusen takk, by the way.
Anyway, if you are thinking about other management systems, Textpattern sounds interesting too…
