Porras, me había obsesionado tanto en hacer mis sitios compatibles con todos los navegadores y que validaran XHTML que olvidé hacerlos compatibles con “todas las resoluciones” también (al menos con las más habituales, que he visto cada cosa por ahí… :P), y si se ven en una pantalla 800×600 hay que pulsar F11 y queda fatal… En fin, volveré a revisarlo en otro momento de mi vida.
Por cierto, hoy he ido al cine a ver una película polaca en polaco (ya había visto varias películas en polaco, pero no polacas :geeked:). Me han gustado mucho tanto la película -Pręgi- como el cine, que se llama “Cytryna” y te hacen descuento si llevas limones o cosas amarillas o si se da no sé qué otra conjunción astral :D, y además te dan café (aguachirri, pero algo es algo) o té con el precio de la entrada. Y me pareció que los actores principales tenían una piel muy bien cuidada en todo el cuerpo ;)…

Doh! I was so obsessed with making my sites web-standards compliant, XHTML valid and so on that I forgot about making them “main resolutions” compatible.
Now they are not easy to navigate in 800×600 resolutions and you have to press
F11 to avoid scrolling…
Blah, I’ll get back to that later.
Oh, I went to a great cinema today, actually I’ll try to go there more often :D. You get discounts if you bring in lemons or wear something yellow 
(the cinema is called “Cytryna” -yes: “lemon”), and you are given tea or coffee within the price of your ticket!! Besides, they play great films there. I am so proud of myself that I could understand most of today’s film -Pręgi- even though it was in Polish =). Maybe it was that the actors were good and that human feelings are universal…

Anyway, I just had a look at my neglected child of a website and I FINALLY came to the conclusion to just reinstall WP and (as painful as it is) all the plugins, because apparently I have so far failed to access… The thing is I’m on a completely new computer, I don’t even have an FTP prog installed and OF COURSE I lost all the access data for the web server. It would be too tough of a task to just note such things down somewhere…
Anyway, I’d just like to ask you whether you could send me the data to my mail address.. I’d be eternally grateful as always.
Mañana yo voy a retroceder (?) a casa de mis padres, pero el sábado… I could start figuring things out. Oh, now that I see it: I’m reading a book called “Spanish for smart alecks” or something to that effect by some Spanish author whose been a language teacher in Germany since the 70s and he pointed out that Spanish native speakers used the possessive pronouns very rarely and only in cases where they are unavoidable. Is that really the case? And would it then just be “Voy a retroceder a casa de los padres”? Now I’m confused… and I’m really pleading for the return of the language forum… hehe.
OK, I should draw a line here and save some of my ramblings for a soon to come email…

I’m really glad to hear from you :-D. I’m emailing the data you need in a minute.
It is true that we don’t use posessives very much, but more often than in Slavic languages , for example. Yes, we need it to say “voy a VOLVER a casa de MIS padres”, but if you want to wash your hand, we say “Voy a lavarme las manos”, it is obvious that are yours because you have said it in the verb (lavarME)…
And believe me, I’ve consider seriously to bring that Glossa forum back, my pupils could use it too. And even if only you and me used it, it would be a nice idea anyway :mrgreen:.
Oh, and “¡Hasta luego!” is not that tourist; it is much worse “¡hasta la vista, baby!”
