Just when I was going to accuse him of being a nazi of web-standars…
(ok, yes, I am a nazi of some aspects of linguistics, but that’s not the point right now :P)
…a pupil of mine has helped me to make this site…
(well, these two sites in which this blog can be read)
…”a bit” more accesible to all browsers…
(it looked pretty pathetic in Firefox, and I was very aware of that :dead:)
…just by removing a piece of code.
And not only had he “enlightened” me in that way: I have suddendly felt I had the “inspiration” I needed to make every single site web-standards-compliant.
BUT I’M STILL THINKING THAT COLOURED SCROLLBARS SHOULD BE AN STANDARD RIGHT NOW AND FOREVER AND EVER. AND IF YOU CAN READ MY SITES WITHOUT TURNING EPILEPTIC, WHO CARES IF THERE IS AN OCCASIONAL I-FRAME ROUND THERE THAT I DON’T FEEL LIKE CONVERTING INTO A OVERFLOW DIV… AND YEAH, I USE THE “TARGET” TAG, SO WHAT?
Sorry about shouting, but I have to remain loyal to at least a couple of the core of my messy designing principles. It’s my style :geeked:.
