Hace un par de días Andufo.com tuvo la buenísima idea de poner a disposición de quien se pasara por su sitio la colección entera de Cosmos: un viaje personal de Carl Sagan, eso sí, en inglés sin subtítulos en español…
Me hago eco de la iniciativa publicando los enlaces a archivos .torrent (de The Pirate Bay) con el contenido de Cosmos en español. Como son los DVD, se puede elegir entre la versión original y la versión doblada, y también hay subtítulos en castellano, inglés y portugués.
Lo de poner esta clase de cosas a descargar no es muy legal que digamos, y tampoco me hace mucha gracia, pero en el caso de Cosmos considero necesario hacer una excepción. Esta obra está más que amortizada y por su contenido ilustrador deberían declararla Patrimonio de la Humanidad. De todos modos, si te gusta y no tienes ni el libro ni la serie, considera comprarlos para apoyar las buenas causas de Carl Sagan y a todos los que trabajaron con él; y, de paso, para añadir valiosos elementos a tus pertenencias.

I guess I just wanted to have an excuse to start telling that I’ve been browsing Uzbekistan related pages lately. I am interested in going there (not necessarily in the near future) and spend a week or so to take a look at it. With the Caesar, of course.

By the way, I only use two plugins and they BOTH had issues with “Ella” (Wordpress 2.1). But I found solutions (that I haven’t applied yet :p):

I had never seen so many evident bugs in Wordpress so far. Maybe because it now affects directly to the output: to what it is actually seen.

Acabo de terminar mi primer “theme” o plantilla para Wordpress
Bueno, o cierto es que no he hecho más que modificar (guiada e inspirada por el Caesar) una gráfica ya existente y la he adaptado a WP.
No voy a publicarla para disfrute general porque está destinada a un proyecto comercial que nos traemos entre manos, pero si habéis visto por ahí alguna gráfica CSS que os haya gustado mucho y queréis que alguien la adapte a Wordpress, pedidlo en los comentarios y es posible que lo haga. Últimamente estoy de humor y de paso adquiero práctica

I have just completed my first theme for Wordpress
Well, I actually just modified (guided and inspired by the Caesar) an existent layout and ported it to WP.
I won’t release it for public joy because we intend to use it in a commercial project we’ve got in mind, but if you have seen any beautiful CSS templates round there and you would like someone to port any of them to a WP theme, ask for it in the comments and I might do it, I am in the mood
Detesto el uso masivo de Flash en las páginas web (yo ni lo toco). Flash debería usarse sólo para hacer peliculitas y jueguecitos ligeros y gracias. Quizás la cierta tirria que le tengo a Flash hace que estas animaciones, hechas por Alan Becker, me encanten
