Al escucharlo me han entrado ganas no sólo de leer más de Sampedro, sino de comprar varios libros suyos. Aunque hoy en día, cuando pagas algo, nunca se sabe bien a dónde va el dinero…

Al ver el vídeo he estado a punto de decir “qué joven está el Sampedro a sus 90 años” :p Evidentemente es otro el que lee, pero es que a las tantas de la mañana no estoy yo muy ágil mentalmente. Será por la idiotización de la cultura y eso…

No intentéis ser buenos de ningún modo, porque al fin de al cabo, los conceptos “bueno” y “malo” no son más que ideas vagas y relativas y el planteároslas sólo os convertiría en auténticos amargados antes de llegar a los 30, como me pasó a mí.

Esta mañana, curiosamente Día del Libro, mientras aprobaba solicitudes para unirse al fanlisting de Maria Gripe, vi que una de sus admiradoras mencionaba en su blog que Maria Gripe había muerto el día 5 de este mes.

Ya sabía que era muy mayor y que estaba enferma, pero aún así el enterarme de la noticia hizo que el corazoncito se me espachurrase un poquito…

Llevaba varios meses pensando en renovar totalmente el fanlisting porque se está quedando muy anticuado.
Había pensado incluso convertirlo en un “fansite” y contactar con la mismísima Maria Gripe o sus representantes para comentárselo, pero va a ser que las cosas tendrán que ser de otro modo…

Si sentíais especial devoción por esta autora o si simplemente queréis enviar vuestras condolencias a la familia, he habilitado un
libro de visitas de emergencia.
Si habéis escrito entradas de blog sobre el hecho, podéis incluir un enlace al escribir en el libro.
Os aseguro que si tengo la oportunidad, les haré llegar el contenido del libro de visitas a alguno de sus allegados.

Maria Gripe died on the 5th of April due to an illness.

I didn’t learn about the sad news until this morning, when I was updating the fanlisting and saw that one of the Spanish members mentioned the fact on her blog.
It’s ironic that I learnt about the news the day Book’s day is celebrated in some countries.

I had been thinking for months about totally revamping the site, because it’s getting obsolete (if you know a bit about html and css you may find that it needs a major revamp, and I agree :p),
I had even thought of converting it into a real fansite and contact the very Maria Gripe or her managers to comment them the idea, but it seems a part of that plan won’t be possible to complete…

If you had special devotion for Maria Gripe of if you simple want to send your condolences to her family, I have set up an emergency guestbook:

You can write their in your mother tongue, no matter which one it is.
If you have written a blog entry related to Maria Gripe, feel free to link it there.
If I have the chance, I will send the contents of the guestbook to Maria Gripe’s relatives or managers.

Así empieza una campaña para que mi colega de Atitus.com ha diseñado la imagen, y me parece una idea genial.

¡¡¡¿¿¿¿????!!! Os habréis quedado algunos, sobre todo los que me conocen algo ;).

De eso se trata
El asunto es que os quedéis ¡¡¡¿¿¿¿????!!!, leáis el resto y actuéis en consecuencia.
Así sigue el texto de la campaña:

No contrates a una mujer…
…o a un hombre.
Contrata a una PERSONA PROFESIONAL.
Sin fijarte ni en la foto del curriculum ni en su nombre, sino en su preparación.

Porque hay que ser TORPE para tratar de forma distinta a un HOMBRE y a una MUJER a la hora de realizar el MISMO TRABAJO.

Sé inteligente, y trabaja con personas.

Bueno, con los tipos de letra y tamaños que le ha puesto el diseñador queda más bonito, claro.

La campaña es parte del proyecto “Extremadura, por la equidad de género”.

Ya sabía yo que el Canon de Pachelbel nos hipnotizaba a todos, pero este tío me ha abierto los ojos: ¡Pachelbel era el demonio!! ¡Y los productores de la música actual unos borregos por caer en la trampa!!

I know that is sort of in-fashion to go bitching about everything Microsoft related, but I never seem to match certain trends, so it turned out to be that I do like Live Search: I find what I expect to find there.

Lately, I’ve seen that Google and Yahoo (Alpha Yahoo looks interesting, though) try to “guide” me all the time towards their terrain, no matter how many times I change their settings, and I just want to find what I am looking for, not what they want me to find (are you sure Google and Yahoo don’t belong to the same company-individual?). Of course I know that Live Search “guides” me too, but at least they have more… “Class”. And they always ask me, at the bottom of the results page, to tell them how to improve in case I hadn’t found what I was looking for.

So there, I feel more comfortable with Live Search, so far at least. And no, I’m not beeing paid by them whatsoever, I’m not even linking them, but that’s the way I feel now after so much search engine disappointment.

Oh, and by the way, maybe my sudden crush for Live Search has something to do as well with the fact that all my sites are very well positioned there?

Ya sé que está algo así como de moda poner a parir todo lo relacionado con Microsoft, pero pocas veces consigo adaptarme a ciertas tendencias, así que resulta me gusta mucho Live Search: encuentro lo que espero encontrar con ellos.

Últimamente he advertido que tanto Google como Yahoo (aunque Alpha Yahoo parece interesante) intentan “guiarme” hacia su terreno todo el tiempo, da igual las veces que cambie su configuración, y yo sólo quiero encontrar más o menos lo que estoy buscando, no lo que ellos quieren que encuentre (por cierto, ¿seguro que Google y Yahoo no pertenecen a la misma empresa o individuo?). Por supuesto, sé que Live Search también me “guía”, pero al menos estos tienen… Más “clase”, y siempre te piden, al final de la página de resultados, que los ayudes a mejorar si no has encontrado lo que estabas buscando.

Pues eso, me encuentro más cómoda con Live Search. Y no, este no es un anuncio de compresas y no me dan nada a cambio de expresar mi opinión, sólo búsquedas decentes, al menos de momento.

Oh, a propósito, ¿tendrá algo que ver en este arrebato que me ha dado por Live Search el hecho de que todos mi sitios están muy bien posicionados con ellos?

I don’t mind playing the fool from time to time for a good cause and always if I feel like doing it, but in this case I feel compelled to make an idiot out of myself just to “obey” my family, and totally unwillingly.

I am 28 and I feel like a minor. And totally trapped, by the way.

I had once been told that I looked a bit like Natalie Imbruglia and now My Heritage’s Face Recognition states the same. I feel flattered, I think she is pretty pretty

It also says that I resemble a bunch of Asian girls (well, I do have almond shaped eyes, but not THAT much…) that includes the Nobel Prize Aung San Suu Kyi.

Oh, and apparently I even look like Roberto Benigni (actually, one of my uncles does resemble him!) xD

Err… Yes, I was a bit bored this afternoon: no training today…
