I found this on Bonnie’s LJ (not that we are colleagues, but I’ve been following her “web-work” for several years) and I found it fun. It’s been a long time since the last time I perpetrated something with Paint Shop Pro and I was in the mood. Besides, I guess it will break a bit the “blah” tendence into which this blog was falling. I think this is the first “meme” I post here, by the way. I don’t post many memes here but I think they are interesting from time to time.
y hace más lento el curso de las aguas;
cuando el cielo parece un mar violento,
y los pájaros cambian de paisaje,
y las palabras se oyen cada vez más lejanas,
como susurros que dispersa el viento;
entonces,
ya se sabe,
es lo que pasa:
esas hojas, los pájaros, las nubes,
las palabras dispersas y los ríos,
nos llenan de inquietud súbitamente
y de desesperanza.
No busquéis el motivo en vuestros corazones.
Tan sólo es lo que dije:
lo que pasa.
This is so sad… I remember when my parents told me that Spaniards had to go to France to see the film Last Tango in Paris (1973) because in Spain it was censored, and in such a great country like France they were more open minded: the key of their supposed greatness.
And now it’s the other way round. In France, this poster -which, in my opinion, is quite sweet and innocent while it deals directly with the matter- has been banned… But why? Are they becoming so USAfied that they are copying even some of the most stupid great ideas that come from the other side of the ocean? Deciding for us in a very evident way what we can see from reality or not as if they were able to modify it just like that and, of course, doing all for the sake of the people? (As I often say, if at least they pretended a bit…) Oh yeah, I love democracy too.
So images of some retarded starlettes making a fool out of themselves every day are not to be banned and we are even compelled to swallow and digest them, but a necessary and less retarded image is?
These things are those that make me wish to go into exile… To another PLANET.
But well, you never know. Those that say that the image has been banned are those that are clearly against Sarkozy. Maybe this poster was just not used because of artistic reasons, because they have a better design with a similar content…. Yes, you never know…
NO PUEDORRRRRL.
(Sí, acabo de ver al Chiquito de la Calzada en el fiestorro de la tele, justo antes de Chenoa, ¿qué clase de cachondeo es este?)
I had some very bad days lately: I was assaulted by a couple of anxiety attacks and started doing funny things with food again, but I managed to overcome that too (well, at least I feel I won this tiny battle) thanks to “a little help from my friends” (yes, the song too).
Y gracias, gracias, gracias, muchas gracias, por soportar mis “momentos”, oh, gran Caesar.
Poseso: feliz año.

Hello, my name is Cristina MJ, but I'm also known as CalÃtoe.:. in this alternate world. Even when I'm feeling down, I try to make myself laugh about the matter. Some people like me so much that they have joined my fanlisting (thanks, Iva!); I'm delighted, but I prefer to be modest about that.
