I found this on Bonnie’s LJ (not that we are colleagues, but I’ve been following her “web-work” for several years) and I found it fun. It’s been a long time since the last time I perpetrated something with Paint Shop Pro and I was in the mood. Besides, I guess it will break a bit the “blah” tendence into which this blog was falling. I think this is the first “meme” I post here, by the way. I don’t post many memes here but I think they are interesting from time to time.

This is so sad… I remember when my parents told me that Spaniards had to go to France to see the film Last Tango in Paris (1973) because in Spain it was censored, and in such a great country like France they were more open minded: the key of their supposed greatness.

And now it’s the other way round. In France, this poster -which, in my opinion, is quite sweet and innocent while it deals directly with the matter- has been banned… But why? So images of some retarded starlettes making a fool out of themselves every day are not to be banned and we are even compelled to swallow and digest them, but a necessary and less retarded image is?

These things are those that make me wish to go into exile… To another PLANET.

But well, you never know. Those that say that the image has been banned are those that are clearly against Sarkozy. Maybe this poster was just not used because of artistic reasons, because they have a better design with a similar content…. Yes, you never know…

I’ve learnt how to convert any CSS design into a Wordpress theme thanks to the two above mentioned sites, by the way

I’ve finished a course on accessibility and usability organised by the University of Murcia. As a project, I developed an über accessible and usable site that you may copy and use for your own experiments if you wish.

I’ve upgraded my Enthusiast installation (I’m using it in my domain Diletante.Net) and I am tweaking it to manage bilingual fanlistings, as I had done with the previous version.
I’ve got most of my fanlistings run by Enthusiast, but I still have to convert some others.

I’ve written a bunch of articles for Maestros del Web (in Spanish).

I am preparing a book to be published: an anthology of Calito(h)eces and some poems.

I’ve also been involved in some other web stuff…

And to change the topic a bit, I declare myself officially depressed, mainly because apparently I’ve got everything and I don’t know what to do with it.

Así empieza una campaña para que mi colega de Atitus.com ha diseñado la imagen, y me parece una idea genial.

¡¡¡¿¿¿¿????!!! Os habréis quedado algunos, sobre todo los que me conocen algo ;).

De eso se trata
El asunto es que os quedéis ¡¡¡¿¿¿¿????!!!, leáis el resto y actuéis en consecuencia.
Así sigue el texto de la campaña:

Contrata a una PERSONA PROFESIONAL.
Sin fijarte ni en la foto del curriculum ni en su nombre, sino en su preparación.

Porque hay que ser TORPE para tratar de forma distinta a un HOMBRE y a una MUJER a la hora de realizar el MISMO TRABAJO.

Sé inteligente, y trabaja con personas.

Bueno, con los tipos de letra y tamaños que le ha puesto el diseñador queda más bonito, claro.
