A ver qué sale de aquí…

GLAD FOR SERBIA - FED UP WITH EUROVISION

The Eurovision Song Contest is one of those things that I always swear I will never follow again and then… I think I really like getting depressed with all its tackiness, sluttiness, broken English and the stupid voting system.
Besides, the Eastern block has conquered the Festival and, as a West-End girl, well, I’m not pleased, even though I might like East-End guys a lot :violin: . But I keep torturing myself with all that Eurovision crap and sort of enjoying it.

What I liked from last year’s edition was that the winning song wasn’t performed by a semi-naked slut girl and had some kind of, let’s say, originality. And a good colleague of mine who is also a Eurofan is a Finnish, so I got glad for him.

The great thing of the winning song of this year is that is from… SERBIA :D
They really deserve some attention. Besides, the song is quite nice, SUNG IN A NATURAL LANGUAGE and not sung by a semi-naked woman either (actually the woman looks like an Earthly woman, hard to see lately on TV). I don’t really mind naked women round there, but it’s a bit annoying when it’s obvious that people are only voting that.

I also liked that the “mis en scène” of the Serbian song is very LESBIAN, how is it that noone mentions it “comme il faut”?

As far as the Spanish song is concerned, I’m pretty happy with the performance of our guys taking into consideration that the song was one of the crappiest I’ve heard in all my life and the guys are the typical “NKOTB” wannabes. They made the most out of the material they had, so great for them.

Some of my favourite this year include Ukraine, Ireland and Bulgaria. Totally different from each other, but I liked them a lot.

And my favourite, Romania, even though it was not as successful as it deserved, it is still being my favourite this year. :luv:

We deserve a post

Tachán…

Here I am, posting..I cannot believe it :D It’s been a long time… But I reckon we all deserve a post: the site, the visitors of my various sites (special thanks to Helen, Frauke, Iva, Beth, ShAbBy, Caesar, Jánder and… Pablo, I guess, for keeping the spirit alive) and me :P

Some of you already know what was going on in my life, some of you don’t and some of you are a bit lost… I was a bit too, but here I am again :)

I left Poland and, therefore, my dearest pupils in Łódź, where I had found the relief I was seeking and learned a bit more about life, snow, Polish language and culture and also about love, sex, their points in common and their divergences. Then I went to Luxembourg to work as a trainee for the European Commission for five months; there I learnt more about life, friendship, freak pride, love and even a lot more about self-esteem. I quit a relationship because it had not real sense and besides I felt I had to struggle for someone else, and in the end that turned out to be what we could call a wise decision… Funny, eh? At least it is proving to be like that so far.

I spent a quite intense month of August in my home land: Galicia. Where I had to help fighting the worst wildfires (or arsons, I would say) wave in Galician forests ever. We had the fire litterally in front of our country house doors. The only good thing about it is that a lot of people who didn’t really care about Nature are now more concerned about it than ever.

August was a sort of waiting month for me: waiting for one of my choices (hey, how Matrix is that :geeked: ): the Transylvanian guy (it could be a girl, but in the end it was another guy… Casuality…) for whom and with whom (together) I had to struggle in Luxembourg. I had had a similar experience last year in July, so I was sort of “prepared”, but doesn’t mean it was easy. Anyway, in the end August came to its end and then I spent 20 quite nice (darkened a bit by an expected and a non-expected dead) and interesting days of September in the city of Cluj-Napoca and its surrounding area, in Romania.

And now… Back to Luxembourg, where I will live at least 13 months (well, with some excursions in the middle :)) together with that someone from another region of the Empire (wow xD). Now we are busy with the tangle of flat renting papers and so on, but there will be more news from me and my sites soon… I hope :P

And this is all so far… I really wish you are all doing fine in spite of some circumstances and thanks for being there.

Pupici ;)
