I do have a life indeed

In Paris I used to complain about not having a life, but here it’s pretty much the contrary.
I will take a moment to mention what I have been doing these days.

Right after the moving trauma and as soon as I arrived to Spain I started attending German lessons regularly, which I only skipped once (yesterday) because I had to study for my role in a farce I will play with some theatre colleagues of mine in desperate need to find someone to play that role at a contest. It’s difficult… The rehearsals are in Santiago at least once a week and I have to spend the night there when I go because we usually end very late, but I take the chance to hang out with my acquaintances, friends and family members that live in Santiago.

I’m also back to gymnastics at my former club. Well, it’s got a different name because it split into two, but I joined the one that had most of my former colleagues (now they are the coaches) working there. I’m doing well for my age, even though we also practise trampolining and I am lousy at it. :p I already have my right ankle a bit injured, but I can still jump around and it’s healing well.

I took some driving lessons too (I got my driving license 10 years ago, but as many of you may know, I am a hopeless amaxophobic when it comes to driving a car). My mother paid for five practices and I took two (I had a nervous breakdown at their offices the first day), but the guy told me that I was wasting my money because it’s evident that I do know how to drive. I just have to work on the anxiety that the idea of driving provokes me, and I’m not in the mood for that right now. I went today to renew that stupid licence of mine, by the way; it’s just a medical checkup (they only check your body, not your mind), some bureaucracy, some fees and there you go. (Gosh, I can’t believe it’s 10 years already).

Blah.

On the other hand, I am setting up a company with the Caesar, it will start working the 1st of December and it will be called TraduXnet. We will do translations and web presence, so there, if you need any of those, you know. ;) Until one hour ago we were cleaning the penthouse to arrange it as our office. Whenever we go there we find tons of “jewels”. I, for example, have found and rescued a series of booklets and vinyl discs for learning German (my maternal grandfather was into it) that date from 1941-1956. “Learn German with the Third Reich“. :P

So as you see, I would say I have “too much of a life” now. I still miss some things of my life at Blizzard though…

Oh, and on Sunday, the 2nd, it’s my 30th birthday. (¡!) The Caesar has just bought me a great coat for our rainy winters and an anti-ageing cream (that I had asked for, he’s not such an insensitive person). I guess the celebration won’t be like my 24th birthday (oh, what a day), but we will have lunch in Tenorio and there will be some people around and stuff. It’s a pity that a lot of people I care about won’t be there, but some will come and I should be happy about it.

30 already… I don’t really feel much of difference, actually. :p

Oh, and my sister found a black kitten on a car battery and now we’ve got it with us in the flat.

As we don’t have footage of Cristina’s last day at work in France nor of her day-after (in which she dared to go back to the office), we show here a similar one (yes: I wish).

Leaving Blizzard Europe is not that easy, and I’m not thinking only about the shortage of good removal companies around. Je suis un peu touchée, en fait.

I liked the card my now ex colleagues but good mates gave me. And I bought this thingy with the voucher they gave me as a bye-bye present.

Momento blah sublime

Buen finde.

Qué difícil todo

Qué difícil todo. Y emponzoñarme en McDonald’s no ayuda.

Women are bitches, men are pigs (sometimes it’s the other way round).

The only way of coping with it is having a all-purpose powerful sense of humour. It helps a lot if the offensing part has one too.

A la hora de partir, un pañuelo de silencio a la hora de partir.
