I’ve decided that I like this layout and that it will stay that way until someone gets fed up with it and makes another one
Blue and white… It’s nice. And contents are the important stuff here, aren’t they?
Well, I must confess that I’ve been playing with PHP a bit, and for some reason I screwed up the code :s Everything seemed to be ok until I realised that I couldn’t log in or register. It was 1 a.m when I noticed that, so I decided that I’d better install everything again (next time I promise I’ll go a bit further on my research ;)). That means that Kathleen, who had already registered, should register again (sorry, girl :/). But I managed to save the (interesting) posts (in a text file… Sorry, it is late! I cannot think ‘comme il faut’ :p). This is Kathleen’s post:
My name is Kathleen. I’m a new hostee here. Calítoe hosts my dutch site. You may already know me from Collectantea.Org. I’m the same Kathleen. I still have a lot work on my dutch site, but it will be up soon, I hope. Uhm… what else can I tell you? *thinks* Well, you may wonder why I have a dutch site. I come from Belgium you see and in Belgium we speak dutch… and french… and german. That’s it for now.
And this is mine:
I’m loading myself with lots of fanlistings!
I applied for several ones during the months of February, March and April, and most of them have been approved… This week!! So I’ve found my inbox full of Fanlistings approvals. I don’t have much time, but the only hard thing is making a decent layout for each one and I’ve already begun all of them. It’s great having a free week… I’m not religious, but I like having Easter holidays… I won’t dare to thanks Jesus for dying these days :S, but thanks to those who instaured this holiday, anyway… OK, sorry about this stupid comment…
Well, should you be curious, I’ll tell you which fanlistings I’ve just begun to build:
*Carl Sagan (Scientist from the USA… Wish he woudn’t need an introduction…) [EDIT]This is already online: here[/EDIT]
*Maria Gripe (Swedish Author)
*Jules Verne (Does he really need an introduction? Oh, well: French author. I need help with the French version, by the way)
*Tintin (oui: Tintin et Milou, par Hergé)
*Language & Linguistics (This will be a very ambitious project, I’ll pretend it to have -among other features- a version in every language I can find translators for: I’ll write the Spanish, Galician & English versions -corrections by Helen &/or Adrian will be very welcome-, and it would be great having a French, Slovenian & a Dutch version as well ;), of course, translators will be given full credit).
I already run several ones that you can visit through Diletante.net
You are very welcome to join the ones you like whenever you want to Of course I’d like them to become popular, but I don’t lose any sleep over it because I think that the really important thing is that I take care of them with all my illusion, and it’s great learning more about the topics by searching info to add to the ‘extra’ sections, and meeting interesting people from all over the World.
Well, this is all so far.
I seem to be hyper-happy by the tone of this post, but the truth is that I’m feeling rather sad today… Specially after reading that a very valuable library in Bagdag has been burnt
