From what I can deduce from watching Polish television here (I’m talking about over 10 tv stations, MTV branches included), there’s nothing currently happening in the World with the exception of the Pope’s funerals, and beside that, there has never been any controversial issue regarding JP II. According to what I see, they consider that nobody is interested in knowing that Raniero of Monaco has died, that there have been violent acts in Egypt and Bob knows where else, and that the REAL MADRID-BARí‡A IS THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!. Oh, and that Charles postponed his wedding (I agree on that: who cares? :P).

I understand those who have faith and believe me, I understand what JP II means for Poles, but I honestly think this is a bit… How to say it?… A bit “too much”. Well, thanks to “that much” I got the determination to revamp a bunch of sites, such as the one you are reading right now: I was getting a bit sick of seeing the Pope everywhere on tv and in the streets.

With all my respect.

If you’d aske me, I’d wish “Cardenal Amigo” would be elected Pope… Yes, I am a happy atheist, but technically catholic in a catholic world so I feel I have the right to have a preference on that issue. Cardenal Amigo, remember that name, it would be a really “interesting” Pope =).

And I’d wish Real Madrid to win that match, although I’m very aware that they are far away from the team they used to be…
